Hello all,
I recently bought a '97 Silverado that is in great shape with 108,000 on the odometer. Have no complaints but the truck sits about an inch higher on the passenger side than it does on the driver's side. Anybody have any thoughts on what I need to do to correct this?

your driver side shocks might be worn out. Also, check all your suspension components to make sure nothing is broken or bent out of shape.

Thanks for the suggestions. That gives me couple of things to start on.

The issue has been brought up before. Seems like a pain in the butt.. not sure why there isn't a realistic fix (akin to getting a leveling kit to get the front end sitting where it should)

Welcome to the site!!!!!!!
Adjust your torsion bar.

The only time I've seen something like that befor was on an 04 Ford Ranger (I was a little rough with it). Her frame twisted a bit while offroading. Lesson: don't drink and drive!!!!!!.....especially over rocks and through ditches as this apparently can twist the frame.

MY 2002 did this also, my problem was the torsion bars were horrible out of wack. Check yours, it might be a simple fix like mine was.

Park the truck on level ground and log the measurements at all 4 corners on a notepad.
You can either use a spot on the frame to the ground or measure from the top of the tire to the fender lip (either spot will work).
Determine which corner is the most out of whack, it might not be as simple as crank one side up, you may need to pull the other side down some or you could have an issue with the rear springs forcing a corner up or down.
Since the rear springs are harder to adjust most of the adjustment will come from the front.
Adjust the torsion bars a little at a time, after adjusting them bounce the truck up and down a few times to allow the suspension to settle then measure all 4 corners again, repeat as necessary until the truck sits to your satisfaction. After adjusting the torsion bars keep an eye on the tire wear, you may need to have an alignment done to correct the front geometry.
