New Guy Here
Just found this forum today or would have joined sooner. Purchased my first Chevy last fall. Moved to my Silverado from a 2005 Ford F150. Previous trucks were Ford, Dodge or Toyota - I guess I am just a slow learner.
I am a recent retiree from MeadWestvaco Corp and I worked in scheduling and logistics at the Covington, Va. mill.
I have two grown sons and four grandchildren and they love to ride with grandpa in the big purple truck.

Thanks to everyone for the great welcome. I sure am impressed with the features and build quality of my Silverado. The 100k powertrain warranty is great as Ford only offered 60k
