    i cannot lie, i would drive the gt500 IF it was given to me, but i would buy an SS over all. thats a good show
    2000 silverado with a 5.3l v8, shorty headers, upgraded plugs, 10 mil wires, magnaflow high flow cats, flowmaster 80 series muffler(2 in 2 out) w/ 18 inch stainless silverline tips. i have a k&n CIA. its a 4x4 z71 offroad package. Ls model.
    extended cab 160k miles, truxedo low profile bed cover, diablo sport predator tuner.
    reman tranny @ 130k miles

    well of course its gonna lose... its the same issue as the SS vs. the GT in reverse... more power won... but thnk of how much extra you have to pay for a ford that can beat an SS camaro....

    That's right, it becomes a question of how much are you paying and what's the spec delivered capable of. More than most people will ever get to experience open throttle, so it's who's going from one stoplight to the next fastest really.

    Both are nice rides, I like the styling of the new camaro better though.

    I saw a Car&driver review on tv this weekend... they had someone on the show for their 2010 mustang test... they said "ford tool the last design and trimmed the fat" ... I like that description... it looks better... a little leaner which is nice... but the Camaro just looks... "battle ready" (saw transformers 2 lastnight.... again)
