If I were you I would just get a 6 inch suspension lift because your getting an extra inch for bigger tires and you wont be sacrificing ride quality like you will be with that body lift. The Tuff Countryyou selected for your 2 inch lift makes an awesome 6 inch suspension for not a huge amount of money.

if youre looking for that much height look at more suspension instead of the body lift. Should be able to get a larger suspension lift on older trucks for cheap still.

yeah I keep meaning to post them. Just lifted it about a month and a half ago. Never think about it when I'm home. only when I am on here at work (instead of actually working)

    Cool Suspension lift

Id go with a six inch suspension lift. Its more money but i think you will be alot happier with the six inch. We would have customer come back a few months after they had us install a smaller lift kit and say they wished they had us install the bigger lift. i like the Rancho because its the only kit for that model years that have a factory welded subframe, not a bolt together the other kits have.

Sacrificing ride with a BL? My **** rides better now than ever before.....

If you are on a budget, the Body Lift is a good option. You won't be able to get as much suspension articulation when you wheel it, but if you want the look of a lifted truck, a BL is a great way to go.

If you do have the money to spend for a 6" make sure you invest in a quality lift. You will thank yourself later. I learned the hard way several years ago by purchasing and installing a piece of crap Pro Comp lift. $2000 extra later, I have the kit I should have bought in the first place....BDS!!!!

    Cool Suspension lift

I agree with Masterfoxscout about the ProComp lift. I installed ProComp on my 96 Suburban when new and what a CRAP kit. Nothing fit and creeked so bad people would ask me what was wrong with my truck even though the bolts were torqued and retorqued to ProComps specs. We had to elongate the bolt holes to get brackets to line up. After putting up with that CRAP for a year I replaced kit with Rancho which is still on the Suburban.
