Default Truck Brakes Make Noise. Help Please!

Ok, a few months back my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado w/ Z71 suspension package, was taken in for inspection. The truck never made a single noise, it was immaculate. The only problem, in a dry part of january I put my foot on the brake and didn't stop (atleast until I hit the guy in front of me). When I got the truck inspected, they replaced the front rotors and all the brakes. For the first month everything was fine. However, for the last couple of months the brakes have making a noise. It sounds like it is coming from the front driver side, and only happens when I am driving straight and don't have my foot on the brake. When I turn or go to stop, the brakes don't make a noise. Any way, my question is... is there a replacement brake that won't make this noise? I asked someone about it, and they said the material that the OEM brakes were made from is not allowed to be used anymore?

Can you duplicate the noise by jacking the truck up and spinning the wheel? Is it a grind, squeal........etc.

I don't really have the time to jack it up... but if it helps, the noise is a squeal. It doesn't grind, it just annoys.

the squeal while not braking is typical of the squeaker tab on the brake pad. Since a month is kind of quick to wear a brake pad check to see if it is just bent and hitting the rotor. If the pad is actually worn down and its just one then you need to look at possibly a bad caliper. Need to pull the wheel and look to see if something is rubbing.
