Well they are closing the Chevy/GMC dealer in Clearfield,PA They had a great service dept. I need some warranty work done on my '07 Silverado Classic so I call the dealer in Philipsburg,PA (Don't use him anymore 'cause service dept. does a poor job) He tells me they will look at the truck but it will cost me a $35.00 fee to verify warranty 'cause I bought the truck used from a used car dealer. Called the dealer in Patton PA, no problem, have an appt. monday afternoon. Guess I know who my new dealer is. This A-hole in Philipsburg is about to get a ton of new customers given to him by GM while a good dealer in a bigger market is being closed. If this is a sign of things to come, GM will not survive

Agreed - At the very least I would look into it and ask around about why a dealership is charging $35.
