If I switch it over to 3G network, it loads before a flash in your eyes so I am fine with what I have. But a App for this site would be cool, I think I already have about 300 apps on my phone.

So I take it your not a big fan of blackberry devices either? I swear that was the worst phone I have ever had, as a matter of fact I had my old windows phone re activated for a work phone in it's place. I will never ever buy another blackberry anything, It only takes me one time to get burned.

Curve user here. A mobile version of the site or an app would be cool.

i just wanted to say sorry to all the blackberry guys in advance because as Amy stated before, once you've owned both a Blackberry and an Iphone, the Iphone wins hands down. espcially since the release of the new 3.0 OS.......now back on topic, what would you hope to gain from a mobile app to this site that you can't already access off your phones browser?? as long as the site is saved in your favorites you can pull it up very easily and have full access to the website that way??

Well with an app I wouldnt have to zoom in all the time to read post and things. And maybe its my phone but for some reason I have a hard time staying logged in on the website. Basically, if there were to be an app you dont have to worry about the page downloading and everything is there easier to read, see pics make post, and upload photos from your phone ( you know if it were similar to facebook). This whole thread was started just because it was an idea. And I wanted to see if it was a good idea or bad idea thats all. Ultimately it is left up to Steve and the moderators. I was just throwing it out there.

i see your point but its not that big of an issue for me with the iphone, i guess its probably a pretty good idea for those without the functions you mentioned.

My reason for not liking the Blackberry was loading times, I could cook a full breakfast before it would load a website. I'm sorry but If I'm going to pay all that money per month for a browser it better work, so for the money the I-Phone totally kicks butt. I like it so much I kept Verizon Wireless for my parents, and I opened a new contract with AT&T for the I-Phone specifically so that's how much I like it.

When your contract is up go and get an I-Phone, and you will see a HUGE difference and I guarantee you won't go back to a Blackberry.
