    Default Lift for a 2004 Silverado 2500

Ok, so I just got this truck and I'm wanting to put even more of a beefier look too it. Don't get me wrong, I like the 2500 for how it stands as is, but more wouldn't hurt. I'm not so much interested in a suspension lift kit because I don't do a whole lot of off roading. The most I might do is at out my friends ranches and stuff, but mostly staying on dirt roads, not a whole lot of mud or limbs and stuff of that nature. With that in mind I was just gonna go with a body lift. Now I'm not looking for it to be jacked up to the sky, but just something to give it a little higher stance. I was originally thinking just a 3" or 2" lift (might as well go with the 3" i figured. Whats another inch right? lol) But I'm also curious is just a leveling kit would do the same thing?

Another question I have is that I have looked at various kits online and I can't seem to find any for the 2004 2500. The truck I have is just the 2500, not the HD. Everything I find online says HD only. Now I know the difference between the 2500 and the 2500HD primarily lies in the frame and suspension if I'm not mistaken. And since thats pretty much all that a lift kit deals with, I feel like the ones that I'm seeing wouldn't work. But, I could be wrong.

I sure hope someone can chime in and help me sort though some of these dilemmas I'm having lol.

If your going to get the leveling kit which would be the 2inch I would agree with ippielb and go to rough country. If you actually want a 3 inch suspension lift Fabtech and Pro Comp make excellint 3 inch lifts.

Once again tho, when I look at what they have it shows for the 2500HD, but no 2004 2500. Will the 2500HD kits fit the regular 2500?
