I have a 1995 Tahoe LS, i'd like to replace the suspension bushings and upgrade the shocks. Don't want rubber bushings. I've searched the web and found some polyurithane bushings, would really like nylon. Also not very pleased with what I've found for shocks. Would like silver with a black boot or all black. Anyone who may know of a web site or place where I might find something like this, I would be extrememly grateful. Also, would like to hear opinions on switching to multiple shocks and/or steering stabilzers. Thanks!

Some of the old "Nitro" brand shocks were silver and black, but off hand I dont know of any manufacturer using that color scheme at this time. In the part of the country you operate your truck I'm not sure if I'd leave the boots on, boots have a habit of trapping water and causing corrosion to the shock.
Why not buy the best shocks for your particular application and paint them the color you want (just because the shocks fit your color scheme doesnt mean they'll operate well for your truck).
Poly and Nylon bushings do a great job of tightening up the suspension and they dont wear or degrade like rubber, but keep in mind they have their issues also, when they get dirt in the seating area they start to squeek, you can flush the dirt out with water or WD-40 and stop the squeeking but its a cycle that you'll be repeating often.

Energy suspension makes a whole kit for the bushings. In my opinion they are the best, I have them installed on my 99 yukon and I have no complaints. Also on the shocks, color means nothing, stick with shocks that are rated for what you want. Most companies sell the boots seperatly so you can choose the color you want and it wouldn't be anything to paint them. I repainted the ones on my plow truck with black tractor implemant paint from tractor supply. It has held up for 3 seasons of michigan winters so far. And for shocks, my yukon came with bilstein from the factory after 130,000 miles I figured it was due for a set. So I went cheap monroes and they sucked, then to explorer pro comps-not impressed, and here I am with the bilstein's back on it. All said and done I should have went that route in the first place, they ride great. It's all just my opinion, hopefully it helps.
Thanks for the info and opinions. I am getting the bushings in polyurathane and going to try rancho shocks. Thanks again.
