Got in the truck yesterday and the cd player would not eject the cd. when the "eject" button is pressed it clicks several times like it is trying to eject the disc but to no avail. I eventually grabbed the disc with tweezers and pulled it out (came out very smoothe) but now the unit will not load or eject a disc. any advise?

My experience is like everyone elses as I have had a CD stuck in mine for a couple of years. I use a "FM modulator" and use my I-Pod for music! I have heard that if you disconnect the radio, it will eject the CD and work right (until the next time it happens). Good luck!

I had the same problem awhile back on my 04. Took it apart to get the CD out, but just did the same thing again. Took it to the dealership and had it replaced under warranty (thank goodness). I mostly use my ipod now, though. I think replacement is the answer.

thanks for the help, I'll probably try taking out the fuse and see what that does.... and just replace it if there is no change.... thanks again.

Hey jsegs, my 03 did the same thing a few months ago. I just ignored it. Recently I've had a bad drain somewhere (I thought I'd left the bed light on but it wasn't) and drained both my new batteries. I can charge them overnight to drive, but it drains again overnight. My mechanic just called me (I took it in yesterday) to say the radio was the drain and he was going to have his electrical buddy take a look at the radio for me. I wonder if the stuck CD had anything to do with it? I'll keep you posted.
