    Default Replacing 2007 yukon head lights

    How do you replace the hig and low beam bulbs on a 2007 yukon.have new siverstars but do not have a procedure to get at existing bulbs to replace them!

    Not sure if they are the same as mine but there is a metal bar that needs to be removed from the top of the housing and the whole thing comes out. then its a matter of twisting the light plug on the back. I think you might even be able to get to it without pulling the housing. either way it only takes 3-5 minutes (that is if its the same as my 04 silverado)

    Not the same on 2007 GMC Yukon. I figured it out after talking to a body repair shop. On the passenger side under the hood you have to remove the inlet air filter housing assembly. Once this is removed, there is a small square ruber flap that is held in by 4 push in type clips. You have to remove the top 2 and you can now reach in and remove the bulb on thais side. On the driver side you have to remove the spare battery bracket (not used on gasoline models for battery). then you have to remove the windshield washer jug(wher washer fluid is stored.) ther is also a flap similar to the one on the passenger side. You can then reach in and replace the bulb on this side.
    All you have to doe is reverse the procedures and you are through.
