    Default Chevy Truck Detailing

Who details their truck every year or more often? There have been studies that show that an annual detailing (or more often) will help increase the resale value on average as a cleaner vehicle is more likely to be sold quicker and not letting stains set for months (or years) helps as well.

Who details, how often, and what products?

I detail my truck at least once a month with all Mothers products. I work at steel mills and all sorts of nasty places so mine need it.

When I had my Regency truck, I would wash it once a week and towel dry it off with the Absorber. It got waxed twice a year with "Trucker's Wax", I never used a clay bar ever because I am scared of messing up the paint. I use Eagle One car wash which foams up, and I use Zoop Seal on my wheels only once every 3 years. Black Magic tire wet foaming tire shine, Black magic for all body plastics Wenol with Flitz for diamondplate. Strong arm spray for chrome and then a coat of wax, and the engine compartment I wipe down by hand and rub down with black magic. Strong arm spray on all rubber engine hoses, it keeps them from cracking or splitting.

My favorite detailing invention has to be the tire shine sponge, you know the one that's contoured to your tire. I love those things!

I also wash mine at least once a week. Just washed it yesterday. I'm sure after my job tomorrow I'll have to wash it again. I'll wax it like twice a year and use Mothers FX spay wax once a month when I detail it.

I'd have to say at least twice a year.
