what to look for when buying a 2005

i am going to pick up a 2005 silverado 4x4 ext cab 5.3L
what do i need to look for when i go to pick it up

most common
front axle seals
front diff vent cover
power steering pump

if it were me. id go prepared to crawl under it and inspect front to rear. check the few skid plate and the entire under carrige for scratches. dents. anything that could happen if it was truley beat off road. check the frame for any stress indications or maybe even craks or so. always look for the worse. even though it a 2005 thats 5 years old already. and 5 years is plenty of times to ruin a vehicle. just see how the last person used it. check the inside of the bed for scratches or dents. then you will know if he hauled anything or not. open the hood see if its got mud under there. the bell houseing. i blew a seal in my tranny at like 30,000 miles. thank god they fixed it under warrenty. just keep a sharp eye while your looking dont get to excited and over look anything you will regret once you get the truck.
