    Default Avaburb

I got it done enough I can drive it . It's in primer for now , I still have to do my rockers and quarters as I get time and .It set for 3 weeks with nothing getting done because work picked up so much , 4798 miles one week , this old man don't want to do that to much although the pay check sure is nice , so I took my vacation and got it so I can drive it. I got a bunch of pics. to post as soon as I get them developed . $325 for a cowl hood so I'm going to make my own , just more body work ! I'm trying to decide on a color , now it's Dark Blue & Silver with the dark Blue interior . Looking at Gray or light Blue . If the interior was gray I'd do Polynesian Green or Island Jade Metalllic .
I'll post the pics. in wright ups when I get them.

Yes , a 91 1500 is now an Avaburb ( sorry Bob ) . I cut the top off and moved the back rollup window forward . For now it has a plexaglass window , glass later , that slides in and out and a bulkhead that can be removed .I'm trying to figure a way to hold the window in with the bulckhead out and not need a wrench to get the window out , now the bulkhead holds the window in . I capped the side window channel and D pillar so it has a flat bed rail and filled the window opening in the tailgate. I'm going to put pickup hinges on the tailgate so I can take it off and it won't have such a gap when open.
Another name someone came up with TRANSFORMER.

I second this name. It sounds way more aggressive. Avaburb sounds like a crossover name.

I took pics. , hope they turned out O.K. need to get them developed . I'm not very good with this PC so I may get my son-inlaw to post them for me . Tomorrow I'm going to take a look at my hood and see if I can cut it to make my own cowl-induction . I did it on a 71 Pro Street Vega and it turned out O.K. Thats one car I wish I never sold .
