Problem: The ABS light and Parking Brake brake light come on simultaneously.
2001 Silverado LS Ext. cab v8 A/T, 2wd all stock including tire size.
I was just told my ABS Controller is failed and the parts are not even available for 6 months due to back-order. Is this a major defect from Chevy and should it be covered by recall?
The price of the part is very high also; Q. Can a used controller be installed?
Any solutions from the those in the know would be much appreciated.
Thank you, Keep On...

What year, model etc? you could probably get a junk yard donor in the meantime, unfortunately I don't know what all is involved in changing.
