    Default 22" on 305's vs. 15" on 33x12.5

I recently got a 97 Tahoe 4x4 with 15x10 bullet hole wheels on 33" 12.5 tires. The truck has a 2" body lift. How will the Tahoe sit with the 22" compared to the 15" on 33 tires. Looks to me like the 22" wheels look about the same height as the 33 tires I have now. I will not get my 22" until next weekend so i was wondering if it would sit about the same height with my new wheels. What effect would the 22" have on the gas mileage compared the the 33" tires. What the differnce in ride quality will be? Thanks

305's are 32.7" i believe. The ride will be a lot rougher, as there is less rubber to cushion the ride. Just a heads up. If the 33" tires are mudding tires, and the 305's are street tires, You should technically get better mileage with the 305's.

if you are going to do any off roading stick with the 33's on smaller wheels, but if you like the 22s and its a city dweller (mall crawler) then go with the 22's and 305's.

Nope, no off roading. My wife drives this more than me.

anything over a 20" wheel w/ less than a 35" tire will look out of proportion imo.
