I've decided on Black Bear Performance... Justin and I have been cooberating on the tune for my needs and I'm keeping my OEM PCM should I need it. Don't mind the xtra $$ since I was expecting more any way. Some features of the self programmers were inviting but I'm confident Justine will do me right.

Thanks to this forum I've learned from others experiences.

Well, now I'm concerned...Justin and I are still e-mailing back and forth and I was ready to pull the trigger on his custom tune and I still want to. He sent instructions on how to do the security relearn should it require it, and that's pretty straight forward. However, there is a questional % factor that I may need to do a crank relearn and I do not have the capabilty to do that = stuck in driveway. Kinda all dressed up and no were to go, or will it run?

I was wondering how lucky some of you have been that has gone with the custom tune and hadn't needed to do the crank relearn. I'm purchasing a doner programmed PCM and keeping my OEM PCM.

I've looked up some scan tools and they aren't much $$ so I could purchase my own but haven't a clue as to how to do the crank relearn process once I get it. I've read about the procedure on line and maybe a purchased scan tool will have it in the instructions.

I haven't given up on Justin and his tune yet... I have more research to do...still learing about this stuff.
