    Default Power window problem

My driver side power window stopped working..... how the problem started was one day i driving to work and i put the window down and it wouldn't come back up, i got to work 20 minutes later and it worked fine. then a couple days later it did it to me on the way to the lake. i put the window down, then i wouldnt do anything... i got to the lake and i worked fine. then on my way back from the lake i put it down, then it came up an inch, i was able to pull it up the rest of the way while pressing the button and it hasnt worked since........ ANY IDEAS???????

one easy step... check for constant voltage. try greasing the tracks, if that doesn't work, replace the motor...

something to look into... does your power locks and mirror still work while the window is inoperable.... I had the same problem in my 04 tahoe on the passenger side.... if this is the case all you have to do is pull the door panel and you will find a black connector that has geared connection on two sides. push them all the way forward and place back into the connector be sure that the geared teeth are fully engaged and problem fixed!
