    Default Cost to replace front windsheild ?

    What should I expect to pay to replace the front windsheild on a 1987 Silverado?

    New in the range of $100 to $175. Shop around. The chinese are making a lot of replacement glass these days. I got a quote of $125 installed at my home on my 93 burb. Glass shops quote higer on insurance jobs and lower for cash sales. There are a bunch of little independent glass installers that advertise in the pennysaver, craigslist etc.

    Thank you.. I just called and craiglist prices are much lower! but they saying the only models that show up are R10, V10 and S10... and that R10 only comes with the antenna.

    I have a C10 short bed.. never heard of R10 or V10? Would you know what the differences are and which might be mine?

    I'm looking at the 87 R10 and it looks just like a 87 C10.. wonder if that would be good enough for a front windsheild.
