I don't see where 33x12.5x15s are going to rub

Stock 87 C10 2wd shorty.

I've got the some stock 15x8 Rallys with some worn down 31x11.5 (typo - actually 31x10.5) that seem small in the wheel well.

I'm having trouble believing 33x12.5x15 are going to rub anywhere though I've read posts that say they will.. I'd like to know where? I can only surmise that on the outer lip of the wheel well while the truck shaking around?

Anybody actually try and know for sure?

And if does rub where will it rub and why .. more the 33 high or the 12.5 wide

well i got a 95 c1500 2wd but i mounted some 33x10.5 on mine, i got new wheels which took my tires out and i added 3in body kit and 2in spring spacers to my truck, that cleared everything, without the spring spacers, they rub on inside frame, i think it would be a combo of both, if i were you i dould check mickey thompson and they will have a guide for how much lift you would need to do to fit the tires... i hope that helps, i will be close on trim but it should not rub there either

I have a friend running 33/9.5 on his blazer of your generation. All stock. You might have to clip the fender but I think you will be fine. 33s are pretty common on those trucks.

Really? I'm yet to find a stock 2wd with 33x12.5.. but the question is.. is the problem the 33 or 12.5? or both? If you or anybody else can find a picture of an 80s (or specifically 87) running stock Rally's with 33x12.5 I'd love to see it.

As for the fender clip - presuming you mean on the outside face.. I was looking at the fender edge.. it might get messy.I'd like have to cut and weld for a clean look.

In my truck the inside fender (inside of the wheel well) is a piece of cardboard or something. My big concern might be rubbing when I drive up a ramp or something.. sometimes it's hard to tell what angles present problems. I think (unfortunetly) that the problem might be more width than height.. and I'm trying for more width. For some reason all the guys that lower their trucks and have lower profile tires stay away from 295 in the front and all have 275 or less in the front.

I wonder how the truck would would look with 31x10.5 in the front and 33x12.5 in the back.

I just realized i had a typo in my original emai. my tires are 31x10.5 (not 11.5)

Sorry, I was thinking 4x4. And my friends are 9.5 wide, not 12.5 wide. You might squeeze 32/11.5 in there, I don't know.

With a body lift, the 33s should fit though.

i would say that would sound cool i think that 31x10.5 would fit in the front without doing anything, if anything i guess you could find wheel spacers if you really wantd 33x12.5 on front
