Thread: Daughter In A Wreck
07-29-2009, 11:31 AM #11
Thank God she is ok and will live to learn from this experience. Our Pastor's 17 year old son wasn't so lucky as he fell asleep at the wheel and hit a tree. We burried him this past week and to know him and his family was like loosing one of our own. I have a 14 year old daughter and I am so very worried about her as she is fearless. I just have to trust that God has a plan for her life and will keep her safe.
Your daughter and family will be in our prayers!Be Blessed

I'm very glad to hear that she's ok. I rolled my first truck this past February. I wasn't driving dangerously, it was bad road conditions and not being as familiar with my truck as I should have been. I was a junior in high school at that time and only had the truck for 6 months at most. i had bald tires and lost traction/control and went down a hill and a small tree on the hill and that rolled me over.
I see all of my younger freidns getting their licenses and speeding around wet corners and it freaks me out cause i can just see them slide off the side of the road and down into a little ravene. once again, i'm glad your daughter is ok. make sure you get her to drive soon so she doesn't flip out and mentaly phsyc herself out. she could be one of those people in the future that's afraid to get on a dang county road.2006 Silverado Z71 - 97,000 - totaled, RIP

glad to hear she is ok. im in high school and its scarey to see the way some people drive and especially in the bad weather conditions in northwest ohio. i try to be the defensive driver on the road and im lucky enough that my parents gave me a safe vehicle to drive.

Glad to hear both are fine, Al.
I've seen my share of these crashes, and my kids get an earfull when I get home. With any luck, they'll be prepared for when they start driving.
Just two days ago, my wife and I watched as one of our kids almost got whacked by a Beemer while crossing the street. I gave him some words of constructive criticism, and then the kid.
