1985 towing
my brother just bought a 1985 kc1500 with a 350 and was wondering how much it could pull.. i dont know the gearing but just looking for a broad range

It really will depend on a few things, like rear-end, tranny, you say kc1500 is it 4(k) or 2wd(c), and does it have a bumper and ball, or a real reciever?

5K shouldn't be a problem. Some guys might say more, I tend to be conservative with stuff like this.
