98 GMC Suburban SLT

172,400 miles! My parents have owned it since around 26,000.

4x4, 3.73's, all power options, leather, heated front seats, front and rear AC, homelink, compass mirror thing, bunch of other options i can't remember

I have spent a lot of time this summer fixing it up. I restored the wheels and headlights as best as I could, gave it a full tune up, brakes, master cylinder, calipers, took out all the seats and spent abotu 3 days scrubbing the interior, and washed/ waxed it. I would give it a good detail with my porter cable polisher, but there's not much clearcoat left to polish :(

Anyways, it looks much happier now and it's such a handsome truck... now I just need to find it a new passenger rear door...

And I tried to detail the engine bay but I was really nervous about screwing things up cause it's not mine... so not perfect

And just because I can't help myself: this is what it looked like last summer... it looked even worse this summer, because it had not gotten a bath since!

I'm hoping to buy it off my parents after I graduate. I live out in the country, I could put a 4x4 to use

thanks for the compliments everyone! I think it is a great truck, I am trying to keep it nice so my family won't give up on it. I firmly believe that it has many more miles of service.
