Thermal electric actuator....its a Piece of junk and prone to failure. I think the dealer gets something like $150 for it. I believe its available now at parts stores like Auto zone, Advance, Napa. There are cable conversion available as well.

Do the 3/4 ton burbs with the transfer case selector on the floor with the manual shifter lever on them have the same actuator as the push-button 4wd systems?

    Default Go to NAPA

I have a 93 burb and a shop quoted me $300+ for the parts and conversion kit to the GM retrofit. I got the OE pn from the chevy dealer and called NAPA. They had the original electro/thermal actuator and with my AAA discount it was $79. Swapped it out in 20 minutes. I figure if the original lasted 200k miles, I could afford to change it every couple of years myself. 4wd working fine.
