I'm surprised how long it is taking GM to get this car on the market. I hope they get it right the first time...

I think its fine they are taking there time, afterall they have been woring for a while to buy the company that makes the batteries they will use, which is a great thing so there is no outsource products in the car. All they need to do is market and advertise the hell out of this car and make DAMN sure they can get 100,000+ off the line in a year!!

They may not outsource the battery but most of the other parts are coming from external sources.

They better get this thing on the market and moving. If they mess around like they did with the Camaro it will bite them back.

$40K. Not out of my bank account. I'll pass. Most if not all of these "tree hugger" cars have a horrible payback. You aren't buying this car to save money in the short term or long term.

In Europe (where I live) the prices for gasoline are much higher as in the states, but for me there is no sense to spend 38.000 Euro´s in a not funny car.
