    Default 2004 Suburban Z71 VIN# Questions....

I need to know where the vin# are located on a 2004 Suburban Z71. I very much want to make sure when I purchase a new car that it is truely that. I have come across a deal that is good, and I need to make certain that the truck is true.

Isn't there more places to verify the vin#? Isn't there one on the engine? Really? Only one place?

Is it possible to remove the dash and vin plate from a stolen vehicle and put in a vehicles dash that has been in an accident, but not totalled? Can you dig up details about a previous report that says:

accident reported / minor to moderate damage reported.

Isn't there a way to verify the vin#'s on various body panels and the engine?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Should be a sticker on the inside of the glovebox door as well as on the edge of the drivers door (or the frame around the door) that should have the VIN as well......
