    Default extreme 4x4

    Extreme 4x4 is doing a show on rebuilding a 700R4 good info will be on again tomorrow on spike at 10am

    2003 Z71 Silverado LS
    Access roll up cover
    Bed Rails
    Billet Grill insert
    Bed Rug
    CB with PA system
    Waiting to be installed
    Two 8in RF HX2 punch( would have 12s but they got stolen)

    I was watching the show today and got quite a bit of good info that will come in handy with my 4l60e.
    Maybe somebody can help me with one thing he said...... Ian was comparing the 700r to the 4l60e and said the 4l60e used a stand alone computer and without it the transmission would not shift out of 2nd gear. Thats my problem....My tranny wont shift into 3rd. Is there a way to check the system to make sure the computer is communicating with the tranny? I really dont want to rebuild it if I don't have to.
