need help bad bogging 95 350 tbi

hey guys i cant figer out whats going on with this truck its a 95 350 tbi and when i first start it it wont idle just dies antill it warms up and then when i try and acelerate it starts missing and back firing unless i give it WOT it has an open eliment air filter with a stock 454 filter in it and 3 inch dual all the way back (maybe back pressure problem?) it died on we out on a trail a week ago and would not start untill it cooled down and we beat the fuel tank and started i had to play with the pedle to move it but would not go over 20kh and sounded like a tractor my buddy had a parts truck so i tryed the fuel pump off of it and it runs like it is now could this still be a bad fuel pump or maybe clogged injectors or egr valve maybe???

I would start with trying to pull any codes then look at the EGR valve. It sounds like it may be stuck in the open position. If you find it is stuck open then clean it up and close it and reinstall it without connecting it ot the wire harness (or vacuum line if it's the vacuum operated type)

If the EGR checks out ok I'd move on to checking all vacuum lines. Let us know what you find.
