I have a 1998 chevy 1500 pickup with 225456 miles on it. It has the vortex 350 engine in it. The problem I am haveing is that a couple of months ago I had to put intake gaskets on it.ever since then when I am driving the engine act as though it cuts off all thogether and comes right back on almost like its losing ingiton power to the engine. The warning lights on the dash do not come on when it does this and no matter how I drive it it still does it. It doesnt seam to matter how I drive whether in a pull or straight and level it does this. It is not setting a check engine light. I installed a new coil and the cap and rotor are not too old. I need to major help with this. I am just about sick of messing with it. When the truck is not acting up it runs as good as it ever did. The engine does not skip or any other problems

go through and wiggle all the plugs you touched while its running.there might be a broken wire or loose connection.like i tell my friends.if it all started after you fixed it check every thing you touched

It's not show a check engine light, but is it throwing a code? Put a code scanner on it, that may shed some light on the situation.
