Default Fuel injection on an 84 1/2 ton

Ok, here's another situation on my truck. I have a rebuilt 350 that I really dont want to replace. I have found a complete tbi intake and wiring for a ls1 motor. Will the intake work with my heads or do I need to find different heads. What is involved in a tbi conversion? I am interested in fuel economy here. Not looking for a street beast.

    Default Gm tbi swap

Personally, if I were going to take on the challenge I'd go for a TPI, but the GM TBI is tried and true and should yield an improvement in fuel economy.

Check out this great article: http://www.goingfaster.com/spo/tbi.html

Thanks so much for the link. It is truly an informative article. Now, just need to purchase the components and swap them in. Will I have to get new heads or will my stock heads work?

    Default TBI swap info

The stock heads will work fine. If you want to be creative you could port match the intake to the heads.
