    Default 94 Chevy 5.7 A/C not working

A/C compressor will not turn on. I have checked the frean pressure and i have also jumped the low pressure switch still no luck. The clutch on the compressor is noisy. Could this be keeping it from coming on?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great

Does it sound rough when it runs like it is internal or is the noise coming from the front of the compressor? If it is coming from the front, it could very well be the coil behind the pulley, or the bearing for the pulley. It could also be the clutch itself. If it is, you can replace the whole clutch assembly for cheap. You just need to rent the tool from Autozone to do it, otherwise you will never get the clutch off.
