03' 6.6 wont start when motor is warm

A buddy of mine has a 03' gmc 3/4 ton 6spd manual ,reg cab long box duramax with a edge programer, volant cold air intake, and 5 or 6'' single strait pipe. it with start fine in when in has been sitting for a hour or two when the motor is cool and run great all day long untill you shut it off and try start it when the motor is warm. he has changed the fule filter a couple times changed the mass air flow sensor , and had it in to the gm dealer and they said it started every time and the had no codes(they most likely let it sit and never tryed to start it warm). any ideas?

Try unplugging the edge programmer and see if it still happens..
