    Default Got a new truck!!!

Well guys, I finally picked up a new (to me) truck today! It's a black 1991 Chevy K1500 4x4 with newer black rims and near new tires with a tan interior. The interior is in damn good shape, and the paint has a few scratches, but no rust anywhere. It has 180k on it, but has a rebuilt torque converter (not sure about the tranny, but it engages and shifts nice and tight), and a tag on the firewall in the engine compartment saying "Ryan's Engine Exchange of Ft. Collins" leads me to believe it has a newer motor. New engine or not, it runs damn good!

I only took one picture, but I'll take more tomorrow!

Here it is less than an hour after I bought it (had to give it a REAL test drive, right? What better way to do that than in the 14" if fresh powder we just got??)

    I'm lovin' it so far!!
Current truck: 1996 Ford 250, 7.3 Powerstroke diesel. Dana 60 SAS, stage 1 160cc injectors, T500 High Pressure Oil Pump, TS 6-position chip, full 4" exhaust, intake, 285 Falken Rocky Mountain AT's, boost/EGT/trans temp pillar gauges, etc...

That truck looks really clean to me for that mileage, I would definately say that is a newer motor because it is way too clean. Congratulations on the ride, and I bet you will enjoy that as much as you do your other truck.

Thanks everybody! You know what else I found out today? It's got a rebuilt transmission and new torque converter with 15k on 'em, which came at the tune of $2,300! And I'm 99% sure it's got a newer motor in it too!

The more I find out about this truck, the more I feel like I stole it for $2,691.02 (after tax) out the door!
