When i was on my way home from picking up my new seats today, i figured with a 340 lb wrapped pallet, i would be okay without strapping them. i know.I would have been fine if they hadn't been on 2 wood pallets. I had to hit the brakes at a stop light, and the top pallet flew forward with the seats. i got lucky that it hit where it did - 1/4 inch higher would have taken out my window, but it bent the front of my box way forward, denting the back of the cab and leaving the two rubbing. I managed to straighten the box enough by pulling on it that they dont rub - and im not too worried about the dent in the cab, but i would like to straighten the box back out for when i put the canopy back on.
does anyone have any suggestions on how to straighten that thing without removing the box?
On the good side though, i have my new seats to put in after i clean then up. Black sport cloth with 6-way driver and passenger power from a 2002 avalanche. They sshould go nicely with the custom console i want to build.![]()
