I have a 1988 Silverado standard cab long bed pickup that has electric locks, but no remote. Is anyone aware of a kit that might install a remote actuator for the locks?
Get a car alarm installed. 99.9% of the alarms on the market support keyless entry out of the box. It will also be much cheaper than attempting to get a keyless-entry only setup installed.

I second that. I have a buddy who bought an 02 silverado that had electric locks, but not keyless entry. When he tried to get it installed at the dealership they told him it would cost almost 500 bucks just for the keyless entry.
He bought an alarm, with remote start and keyless entry, for 450 installed.
