    Default DTC's

me again..I'm showing PO128 and 430 Codes/. The first one is 'Thermostat temperature below thermostat regulating temperature. The second one says Cat below efficency. The codes here on the site show the same ,sort of , the as the code reader at the shop. I changed the thernostat, thinking it wasn't getting hot enough. No luck, light's back on, and dash guage shows 210. I'm assuming the efficency prolem is due to low motor temperature??? Anybody seen these codes??? I'm thinking to replace the temp sensor for the computer, cuz the guage seems OK.....Thanx..Dana

Yeah I agree. Coolant temp sensor. Then I suspect the code on the cat should go away too. Fix the coolant issue first.

    Default Water Temp Fixed

Ya, now only the 430 code. Maybe the cold motorhad the computer 'overriching' the mixture?? Who knows.. I drive under 19 miles to work, so may have hurt the Cat. Thinking about replacing the O2 sensor downstream...Cats are expensive, yes?? Thanx..dana
