engine mount removal???

hello, fellow bow-tie guys (and gals). i'm working on my '91 c1500, and i'm swapping out the 4.3 in favor of the 5.7. part of this conversion requires me to transfer the engine mounts from the cross-member. i have the engine removed from the donor vehicle, but i do not see how to remove the mounts from the cross-member. the bolts are easily accessable, but i do not see how to grab onto the nut on the other side. do i need to remove the lower control arm, to get to the nuts? any help would be appreciated.

I think the lowers are fine. but if not you can get to em near the frame been a long time since i pulled them out
