OK We have a 02 Tahoe.
Gotta rust problem with all 4 doors, it is on the bottom seam where the door skins are crimped over the door frame. I was able to get the Dealer to repaint the seams on all 4 doors, twice.
But
it has been rusting again, however after taking the doors apart , there is no rust on the inside of the doors.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I was thinking about using a product called PRO-15,on the seams after grinding down the rust.
what do you guys think?

can you see it from the outside? or is it only where the crimp on the bottom inside? if its only on the inside only i would lightly grind, seal it, and hit is with primer really good after taping everything off real well. no one will ever see it.
if its outside, there is alot more involved.

Dont go back to the dealer, I have had to deal with this before too. the very first time that happened I went to the highest rated body shop in town. They knew exactly of the problem and how to deal with GM to get it taken care of properly, so my advise, start talking to body shop. they are non-biased and dont work for the company that has to pay for it, in this case its better to have the middle man. When i had to deal with it, it was for a 1994 pontiac 2-door sunbird. The doorskin seam under neath and the doglegs where rusting through, took it in once, the body shop set everything up and never had a problem again. This also was in MN (salty winters) and happened at only 86000 miles, the car lived on to drive for 250,000mi and the paint still looked brand new!!
