LOL already have, Autopage is the leading developer in car alarms, they have been doing it since before the time of DEI (viper, clifford, python) and with their C3 module you can start your vehicle from another state! One of the guys from autopage remote started his truck from New York when it was at the autopage booth in SEMA a few years back.....It uses cell phone technology and its 100 dollars a year but you can lock, unlock, remote start and do live GPS tracking whenever you want from a computer. If you dont want all that fancy stuff then IMO i would use the autopage RS900 and the ADS-DL module, all of 2003 and up chevy's need a transponder bypass module and Autopage's is the best because you simply program it from the computer and plug one wire in the alarm brain, it controld lock, unlock, remote start, and door pin sensors. Pretty the much the easiest alarm to install and works real good.

I would be afraid to have a remote that can start my truck from another state. I would be paranoid that i would push a button and come home to find a truck with a completly dry tank.

Can't really go wrong with Autopage, Compustar (Firstech), or DEI (Viper, Python, Clifford, Avital, Hornet). And between the three, you should be able to come up with a system that is as effective and simple (or complex) as your needs and preferences dictate.
