Ok heres the question,
I have a 08 silverado crew cab. i want to lower it but dont want to create any issues. I have 24's w/ 305/35/24 tires. I do tow a pressure washer trailer 5 days a week but its not far so 30 series tires are out of the question plus i dont like the rough ride. I've been looking @ 3,5 drop. I see a lot of these trucks dropped 4,6 and they look nice but all have 30 series tires and there usually not as wide either.
Anyways somebody with a nbs silverado have any advise would be much appriciated. Also whats the best way? spindles and coil or a-arms or just coils? rear flip kit or new leafs w/ shakles & hangers.
I'm a big fan of a smooth ride, I also dont want to buy tires every 6 months from alignment issues.
Firm beliver of you get what you pay for, and air ride is out of the equation too. not looking to have an expensive silverado car! lol
Thanks in advance

most of you rough ride is from the big @** rims, your tires have no give. and on lowering, spindles give a better ride then coils

spindles and coils up front, i would go 4/7 you will only regret not going lower and plus you got a meaty tire. These trucks are really high stock. My friends 4/6 drop, frame sits lower than the newer models and his truck is a 05
The crappy ride comes from the wheels.
Also with spindles you lose some turning radius, but its better than LCA because you wont run into alignment issues.
Also lowering newer base models than NBS is a bit differant its kinda the opposite of what you do.
let me know if you want some pics of lowered nnbs trucks. i got plenty
