    I am currently finishing the lower half of the dash, have it all out and in my shop

    I don't recommend painting it gloss, I need to pull it and paint it satin black, just the top, the rest will stay gloss

    it wasn't very hard to remove, just pull of the bezel around the steering wheel area and then start removing the bolts around the out lining area of the dash, then pull the air vents out and you will have to reach up inside through the vent holes to unhook the handle bar.

    after that just start pulling and it will come out, there isn't any tricks to it just take your time and dont break anything

    if that isn't clear I can post up a write up if I can find it again

    No, this should be good enough. I've just never taken the time to really look at it.
