    That's one of the problem with car companies today ... vehicle last MUCH longer than they used to, so you can get parts and get it repaired for $2k and drive it for another 5 years.

    Confrats, and you're right, you can get another 100k to 150k out of it with proper maintenance. I had a '91 blazer that lived to see over 325k miles on her before I blew the engine. that was my fault. I knew she had an oil leak and did not watch the opil level while on a long trip. She ran dry and seized up. Good luck.

    becareful i have 4 left on mine ,but after i paid my jeep off i got in car crash, ableto fix it ... of course with y luck this was normal.....congrats

    Congrats and 95k with only an alternator is a testimony of the quality of American made vehicles.
