I have been having a problem here recently with my 93 suburban C1500 where when i first start my suburban, its alright, but once i put it in gear, the idle dies down really low, and just stalls, so i was thinking spark or feul, so i changed my ignition rotor, distributor cap, and fuel filter, and it still does it, so can anyone help me out, cause ive had people tell me its the trans. so how do i go about checking it.
I doubt it's the transmission causing this problem although it is possible. How does the transmission work? Does it do this in reverse as well as drive? I would take a good look at the throttle body and make sure it's not all coked up. Also try cleaning the mass airflow sensor.

i was thinking something of that sort, but that would also act up when in park and neutral, thats not the case, but yes, it does it in all transmision engaged gears, such as reverse and drive, im also trying to do some research to get a pressure check done on the trasmision
