So, I wanted to go with a billet style grille on my 81. I found the original to be in worse shape than i thought it was when i took it off earlier today. Here is a picture of my front end profile as is.
My Dilema is whether to go with the grille that goes simply to the lights or the coverall. This is more of an opinion thing as the title suggest, so if you would like to suggest another style go right ahead!

I personally love the full phantom look, but they also make a half phantom grille for that truck that only covers the turning signals but leaves the headlights open. I know in Ohio it's illegal to have a full phantom grille, you cannot have anything covering your lights like that. Check with local laws before you order it, because those grilles are big time money and it would be a shame to get a ticket for it. It would definately be a HUGE improvement for your truck, I would have had one on my truck if it wouldn't have been for the friggin cops around here!![]()
I would go with the exposed headlights Ive always like that look.
