    Default ding, ding, ding

    When the key is in and the door is open ding ,ding, ding.
    would anybody know how to disable the ding.

    What's the year and model of the truck? This will help in nailing down the location of the "dinger".

    I disable the dinger by removing it. Of course it's the headlight dinger too.
    When you hear hoofbeats, look for horses not zebras.

    Also does anyone know how to remove the seatbelt ding
    2009 chevy 1500 z71 4x4<br>
    2.5 ccm level,2.5 inch rear blocks 305/60/18 coopers stt,Debadge,Black Bowties,Black out interior trim that wasnt already black,Dynatech headers,10 series muffler dual side in front of right rear, com,Edge, KN CAI, Black out exterior completely

    Both the seat belt chime and the headlight dinger along with OnStar work via the smae module that is interfaced with the stock radio head unit.

    When i replaced the stock head unit with an aftermarket all the above mentioned sounds were gone, including your turn signal cliker!

    Disconnrct your OnStar module and you may solve these issues.

    Yes, if the module is disconnected you can no longer use OnStar. If you dont subscribe it doesnt really matter.
