Tranny temp gauge

I would like a tranny temp gauge. There is a blank on the lower left side of cluster, would it go there ? Would I need a whole new cluster? Is the wiring in the harness? Where could I order what I need ?

It's an 04 Z71, 5.3 with DIC. I'll try to add this info to my sig.

Yes you can get a Dash Cluster that has the Transmission Gauge.All so they are Per-wired from the factory for the Trans Temp Gauge.You can pick the Clusters up on E-bay.One last note is that if you do get a New Cluster it will need to be Reprogrammed for the current Mileage on your truck.

Yes buy a Dash cluster that is from the same model year Truck as yours,meaning that you need a Cluster from a 99' to 02'.A 03' and up will not work.Then you would to have it reprogrammed for the Current Mileage on your Ride.Then swap out your Dash Cluster for one with a Trans.Gauge.Here is E-Bay Site,

Does the dealer reprogram the mileage? Do you take it to them pre-install or after its in?

Some Dealers will Reprogram for the mileage some Won't.....You have it reprogram before you installed it.
I had mind Programed at a Local shop.There are a few Company's on the E-bay site,that do Reprogramming
