Suburban restoration
I tried a post earlier and it did not appear to go through, so if I'm repeating myself, sorry.
I recently purchased a 1962 Suburban and I am looking for any classic truck info that I can get for that era. i do not intend for it to be a complete restoration at this point. probably more along the lines of a rat/hot rod. i would appreciate any help, or warnings, that you can offer.

well for parts check out lmctruck.com i was going to do the rat rod look on my 65 bu i fell into some money so i did a full restoration i bought every piece brand new from the site.

The bodystyle of the 62 is one of the better. Here are some pics to give you ideas. The two tone paint on the pick up gives you an idea of what it might look like on the burb.

How rusted is ur hood? Becuase i would tell to find a new one if its t rusted.It took me a good solid week of metal work to have mine lookin good
