    Default Tire Question

I just purchased a very lightly used set of tires for my 1999 4WD Chevy Tahoe. They are Bridgestone V-Steel tires, LT 245/75/R16, Load Range E, 80 psi max. These are standard equipment for many 3/4 ton and some one ton pickups, vans, and SUVs. such as Silverado and Sierra 2500HD, Express and Savana 2500 and 3500, and Suburban and Yukon XL 2500. This model is apparently built to last in heavy commercial use.

I'm replacing the stock BF Goodrich TA Trail models (P245/7/R15) with 65,000 miles on them. Do you think these new Bridgestone tires will perform well for mostly highway use? Thanks for your feedback!

I wouldn't think there would be a problem. What's the tread like on the new tires?

BFGs are good tires. But it all depends on the tread I think.

Just depends on what you want to do with your rig.
