The driver side speaker in my 2007 Silverado goes in and out (usually out). Seems like a loose wire but I have no knowledge of how to work with car radios. What should I do?
If it was mine I would remove the door panel and check to see that the wires are properly connected to the speaker. Then I would try to replicate the problem by moving the wires around. If that doesn't work you can try swapping the speaker with the right one, and see if the problem moves to the other side, then you know it's the speaker.
Is yours a classic or a "new" 2007? I don't know about the classic, but if it's a new you will find a plug connecting the door harness to the truck, located on the left end of the dash. You have to open the driver door to see it. (The lid) Check to see that the plug is properly seated.
If none of the above works you will have to dig deeper.

thanks. I'm pretty sure its a classic. I'll try the fix and let you know if I figure it out.
