    Default 2002 S10 zr2 down on power

i have a 02 s10 with the 4.3 L .when i get down on the gas in general it feels like it is down on HP. and sometimes it lags really bad for a several seconds and goes wide open after that. changed my fuel filter today and my plug wires are about a year old. plugged it into a computer and it throws no codes.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Distributer and plugs, a hariline crack or carbon trail in the distributer can give you alot of problems. When you give it the go pedal, check in your rear view mirrors, are you seeing any black smoke puff out the tailpipe when it finally picks up, if so that can be a sign you are running rich.
